We are seeking skilled and experienced Welders to join a leading manufacturing and shipbuilding operation in Europe. Successful candidates will be assigned to subassembly production, section production, or final assembly depending on skills and experience.
Qualifications:
- Perform welding on steel components, assemblies, and large structural sections.
- Assemble and weld fabricated parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate, set up, and monitor welding equipment, including semi-automated and automated welding systems.
- Execute high-quality welds that meet safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Perform welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions as required.
- Inspect completed welds and ensure structural integrity, accuracy, and leak-tightness when required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, welding procedures, and work instructions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following company safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Must have NC II GMAW/NC II FCAW certification or an ISO certificate for GMAW/FCAW
- At least 2 years of relevant welding experience in shipbuilding.
- Skilled in multiple welding positions and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Experience with semi-automated and automated welding equipment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
